This large wasp trap is in the shape of a beehive. It is approximately 9" tall (15" tall including the hanger). The bottom is approximately 6" wide.
Simply make a little sugar water and pour it in the container from the top. Place the cork back in it and hang it at the edge of your porch, garden or patio. It can also sit on a flat hard surface.
The bottom of the trap has a hole in it and is shaped into a resivior to hold the sugar water. Flying insects are attracted to the sugar water and go into the trap from the bottom. The best part, they can't get out! Leave the trap out until the water evaporates, empty it, rinse and repeat for ongoing enjoyment.
